Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Autoclinic, operated by DAVID PHILLIPS AUTOS LTD. By creating an account, using the service, or purchasing a subscription or credit pack, you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are 13 to 17, you may use the service only with parental or guardian consent.

You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, the security of your password, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Autoclinic offers Glance, Driver, Garage plans and separate credit packs. Subscription pricing, included monthly credits, and feature limits are shown on the Pricing page before checkout.

Credits are a service usage allowance for Autoclinic. They are not money, not stored value, not a virtual currency, not transferable, and not redeemable for cash. Subscription credits do not roll over month to month. Purchased credit packs remain valid for 12 months from purchase unless law requires otherwise.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed price and billing interval until cancelled. You may cancel anytime through the Billing page and Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops future renewal, and access continues through the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused subscription time unless required by law or stated in the Refund Policy.

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. The automotive restrictions below are part of these terms.

You retain ownership of uploaded content. You grant Autoclinic a limited license to host, process, store, transform, and display your uploaded content only as needed to provide the service, improve safety and reliability through anonymized aggregates, respond to support requests, and comply with law. Generated outputs are licensed as described in the Content License.

Autoclinic output is educational guidance only. It is not professional repair advice, legal repair certification, insurance evidence, or a guarantee that a specific repair will work.

Safety-critical components, including brakes, ABS, airbags, SRS, steering, fuel systems, and related controls, must be inspected and certified by a licensed mechanic. We are not responsible for repair, damage, injury, loss, or regulatory consequences arising from reliance on AI output.

The service is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to Autoclinic in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages.

You agree to defend and indemnify Autoclinic and its officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers from claims arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these terms, unlawful content, vehicle repairs or decisions, or infringement of third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users, create legal exposure, fail to pay, or misuse the service. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account closure through support.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your place of residence gives you mandatory rights that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days of notice when practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
